I have 26 minutes left on my computer time at the library and I’m not really any closer to knowing what I will write about today.
So I’ll just start writing.
I am finally learning that sometimes just doing is the best way to get focused, find out what I need to know, make progress. Too much information on the front end and I can get overwhelmed and intimidated. That is not the way to start a task.
….attention began with “Damn. 26 minutes. Do this.”
It’s like when I’ve traveled outside of the States and suddenly remember — or someone else brings it to my attention — that I’m no longer standing on American soil. It’s equally startling. “Damn! This is another country on another continent. Wake up! Be alert! Experience it all! Make it worth it!”
